My condition a year ago, pragmatism and idealism

secret of life:live every instant as though you have just come into existence(with memories and knowledge intact)
(live as an amnesiac, remembering the past one memory at a time, only to forget it a moment later)
end corporate control of the arts
you have no right to define my existence
have robots build/make/grow everything the living beings of earth need, then everyone can pursue knowledge
everybody gets enough, those who contribute more get more(why can't everybody have what they want, not just what they need? we have the technology)
infinity times zero equals life(an infinite collection of timeless moments creates the illusion of passing time)
state of universe at (time=)t+n uniquely determined by state at (time=)t?(even if determinism is valid, we still have the illusion of free will, the decisions are still our own, even if there is no chance that we not make them. and if nothing else, we have the element of surprise)
everything we can observe is a function of time
every mind exists in the fourth dimension
(talking heads quote on the margin)heaven is a place where nothing ever happens
if we can think in the fourth dimension, the first three will be trivial, because they are a function of the fourth
all it takes is one person to give anyone who has ever or will ever (or will never) exist immortality(jesus?buddha?youandme?)
escape(transcend?) this universe before it is (rendered) uninhabitable
once we are outside(beyond?) time, we will all be god(then again, we all already are)
organism is to organ as what is to organism?
(watching 2001, dawn of man) and thus began man's struggle to destroy himself
insanity the answer:lose your mind in this universe...to a higher dimension (i notice i used the word dimension frequently, and yet it is only a word, a meaningless concept created by a human mind)
mind is a vector space with basis imagination (written during linear algebra course. life all comes down to linear algebra. existence at any instant is a linear combination of all other instants)
as thought approaces zero, it approaches the fourth dimension, implying death leads to a higher state of being
this is why while sleeping you can nearly control the environment(why is dreaming any different from living?)
when the brain can think for itself, the mind is free
is the past determined by the future?(perhaps existence was written from end to beginning, so that were time to run "backwards" we would know exactly what would happen next)
birth equals inverse of death
higher(i'd say alternate today) dimensions a result of free will? separate dimensions for every free decision(notice i specify "free" decision, as we can't define what decisions are free and which are not)
Conquered natives(aboriginal peoples) were more civilized and advanced than their conquerors
earlier civilizations(generalization) often had many gods. perhaps they just knew how to create them
consciousness develops differently according to location
only effect heredity may have on mind is speed of thought. if someone thinks slowly they might seem somewhat aloof? but really their head is somewhere else(check out pixies' where is my mind?)
understand your past to get beyond it(seeing my past to let it go-bowie)
it's ok to do something if you understand why you do it(and even if you don't, i say)
every possibility is possible(the possibilities are endless-velvet underground)
it's a beautiful day. and what isn't?
omniscience(ooh, big word. bravo, past ron) results from realizing that knowing everything is nothing at all(so rest and be sure)(rest and be kind)
