Jack is trying to get some paperwork done in the pre-dawn hours when he flips the calendar and notices the small Japanese symbol on the date.
“Hello Tosh,” Jack says quietly to morgue drawer 17. “You’ve been gone for seven weeks now, and seven days ago the Earth was nearly destroyed. All around the world people are forgetting what happened or who saved them. But you- you amazing woman- saved Gwen and Ianto with your time lock when I left them defenseless.”
Jack carefully folds the prayer slip under the drawer label.
“Thank you Toshiko Sato. I promise I’ll remember.”
