PART TWENTY-TWO Everything flashed again, and they were once again facing Owen's cell with Tosh and John Hart to their side. Jack couldn't stop himself, "What the hell is going on here?"
Owen just growled, "What's going on is your long lost brother showed up and has gone all murderous psychopath on us and blew up big chunks of Cardiff; oh and buried you, you twat! Now open this fucking door!"
Jack pressed the lock pick against the panel again and waited until the green lights came on, then was quickly greeted by a pissed off- and alive- Owen Harper pushing himself free of the cell. "About bloody time Harkness. Owen marched over to Ianto and gave him the eye, "And did you or did you not help Gwen with the meltdown at Turn Mill?"
Ianto opened his mouth to respond, but Jack spoke over him, "And why exactly did Gwen go there in the first place? She doesn't know anything about reactors."
Owen glared at Jack, "Maybe not, but ever since you brought her back from the dead she's been the Queen of the Weevils; unless that slipped your mind while you were conversing with the earthworms!" Owen snapped the lock pick from Jack's hand and pressed it against the lock to free Tosh, "You better get up there and make sure the corpse bride is okay."
It flashed again and Gwen was holding the pick to the cell lock while asking Tosh, "Can you confirm whatever Ianto did at the reactor?" Tosh nodded as the door opened and she slipped out, first giving Jack a hug.
"I'm glad you're okay." Then she walked over to Ianto and hugged him, then pulled back suddenly, eyes wide, "Oh my god Ianto! You're alive!" Gwen pulled the pick away from John Hart's cell and looked back.
"What? How did that happen? Where's Owen?"
John Hart bellowed, "Excuse me, as wonderful as it is that eye candy has a pulse again; can someone please let me out of here?"
Ianto glared at him through the door, started marching towards him with his gun pulled and pointed it directly at him, "I seem to remember promising to kill you slowly."
Another flash.
Andy Davidson stared back at Ianto with eyebrows heading into his hairline and hands raised above his head, "When was that? Did I miss a meeting sometime or leave a coffee ring on the furniture?" Ianto dropped the gun to his side and looked back at Jack, then at the confused looks from Owen and Tosh. Andy pressed forward, "Someone mind letting me out of here too? I seem to remember something about a lunatic loose in the city?"
Ianto felt dizzy, and leaned against a wall; Owen immediately came over to check him out, his hand was warm, "What's wrong with you Ianto? It's not like you to point guns at the flatfoot, he's the only one that actually listens to you."
Andy huffed in the cell, "Oh yeah, just kick Andy, that's what he's here for. Now would someone open this buggering cell!"
Ianto pushed Owen's hands away and walked over to Jack like he was carefully crossing thinning ice, "I don't think I," and he collapsed.
