they gave the little half-arsed explanation in journey's end; but i decided to expand it a bit. besides, its always fun to tie TW back to Cardiff-based Who epis.

the innocent face of the gelth just struck a chord. and having them hurdle backwards in time through the rift just seemed opportune.

that and the chance to make yet another causality loop got me all a-tingly.

This may be the best chapter of the series so far. It's too bad there are only two days left in July. (At least, I assume you're going to wrap this up when "Horizons Sing" finishes.)

the main story will resolve with the conclusion of horizon's sing. there's chatter of a continuing story that will be a little less frenetic a pace. this beast just ticked of 50k words -- my brain is hurting at that.

oh powerful chapter! I love Ianto's reactions in this. They are just spot on. Gwen is also quite good here. Great tie-ins with Dr. Who.

gwen... how the hell did that happen? i went from nearly shooting her, to making fun of her (gwen cow) to now she's some sort of shoulder of support?
