Fandom: Supernatural / Resident Evil
Title: Project Mayhem
Rating: Well, there's graphic violence and future smut, so I'll go with a safe NC17.
Author: Lizi
Pairing: Sam/OFC, Dean/OFC
Warnings/Spoilers: If you're up to date on the show, you should be spoiler free (plus, the fact that I'm a recently hooked Supernatrual fan, so Wikipedia has been my friend when it came to this fic). As for warnings, there's gratuitous violence and Resident Evil style gore. And cursing. And smut. I'm a bad girl. =P
Author's Note: My apologies in advance if there are horrid OOC moments for the boys. Like I said, I'm new to the show. Also told from a narrator's POV.  BIG thanks to

Summary: I hate summaries, lol. So, I'll leave this blank.

When we last left Sam and Anna, they were making their way down the hall, trying to find a way out of the underground laboratory. But what they don't know is that Cathryn and Jessi have a very different creature on the way to hinder their process.

At the end of the hallway, after a semi-quiet walk, Anna spotted an elevator, smiled and looked at Sam, who was smiling back at her. He definitely had an adorable smile. "Sam...are you thinking what I'm thinking?" she asked as she nodded her head toward the elevator.

Sam nodded and pressed the button to call the elevator, then sighed as nothing happened. "Well, that kinda sucks..." he sighed as he tried to push the elevator again. "You know...it's probably because the power is out. Well, not out, but low...down here..." he sighed a little, then shrugged.

After thinking for a few seconds, she looked up and down the hall. "Well, we should have seen this coming..." she said with a shrug. "But, there's got to be a way to turn it back on, I mean...like a backup generator or something?" she looked down the hall again. "Shall we look around? See what we can come up with?"

Cathryn watched as Anna and Sam as they made their way down the hall, looking for the elevator control room. "Jessica? I believe it's time to press the blue switch, and open the second basement cages..." she explained. "And the ground floor, too. Give Dean and Raina some of the fun when they make it here..."

Jessi raised an eyebrow and looked at Cathryn with a gravely concerned look on her face. "Wait...aren't those the Hunters?" she asked with an eyebrow still cocked. "I thought the goal was for the four of them to meet up and face Nemesis together?" she asked, looking at the cameras, noting that neither Anna or Sam were armed. "And they aren't armed...won't they be killed?"

Cathryn sighed and looked at Jessi. "I doubt they'll die...and if they do, I'll be entirely surprised. Please just open the cages..." she said flatly and watched as Jessi did her bidding and then looks back at the monitors.

Hunters are what happens when you inject a salamander with the T virus. They grow to the size of a human being, sprout giant claws and develop muscles that bring them the capability to knock a human across an entire room with a single swipe. With no weapons, it looked as though Sam and Anna were to meet their certain doom...

Anna made her way toward a door at the end of the hall, opposite the room they were locked in together, and put her hand on the knob, then paused when she heard a high pitched screeching sound. "Uh...I'm praying that those were tires. Or something. Not like people or something to kill us and eat our brains..." she said with a slight chuckle. "But whatever it is? We're heading right toward it..." she said as she heard the sound again.

Sam looked at her like she was crazy. "And WHY are we heading right toward it?" he asked as he stood behind Anna, watching as she put her ear to the door. "Do you hear anything?" he had a concerned look on his face.

Anna raised an eyebrow and nodded her head, then turned to look at Sam. "Um...there are these really fast footsteps going back and forth in there..." she had a panicked look on her face. She backed up a couple of steps and bit her lower lip, trying to plan out what to do from there. "Okay. I have a plan. Just...follow my lead..." she leaned back against the wall.

Sam leaned his back against the wall beside Anna and watched as she opened the door and held her other hand out to tell him to stay where he was. And they stood there, waiting until whatever was in the room came out. Sam's jaw fell open and he stared at the creature before him, which looked like a salamander that had definitely been eating it's Wheaties. "What..."

Anna rushed into the room and beckoned for Sam to follow her, after the initial shock of the salamander creature being before them set in. "Sam!" she said once he came into the room and she slammed the door, her hands on it, holding it closed. "Push that bookcase in front of the door! Now!" she shouted as she started to feel the salamander scratching at the door.

Sam followed Anna's commands and then looked at her as he stepped away from the door. She looked back at him and allowed the shock to show on his face. "Okay," he paused and stared at the door. "What the hell was that thing?" he asked as he bit his lower lip nervously.

Anna let her panic show a little by shuddering and breathing deeply. "I...have no idea..." she said as she pushed the panic away, then looked at Sam's face. He looked terrified. Meaning that she had to take Raina's normal role and be the strong, secure one. "But...it looked like a steroid infested salamander, didn't it?" she asked with a half-smile, taking on Raina's normal role of the joke cracker, trying to bring a smile to Sam's face.

Sam bit his lower lip and ran a hand through his hair, then watched as Anna showed a little panic. Sam knew all along that she had emotions. All it took was a salamander on steroids to get it to show. "So, now we're trapped in here, huh?" he asked, until he heard clawing at the door. "Well, for now..."

Anna chuckled and looked at the door when she heard the scratching. "At least until good ol' Sal out there busts the door in. So, shall we find a way out of here?" she asked with a shrug, putting a hand on the table beside her to sort of brace herself.

"Yes," Sam said simply, but then added a "because, 'become salamander chow' is not on my list of things to do today..." he finished with a grin, taking a couple of steps toward Anna and putting a hand on her shoulder, then looked at the corner of the room, where the light source was. The dull light of a TV screen seemed to be bathing the whole room. "What's this?" he asked as he let go of her shoulder and approached the TV screen.

Anna smiled a little when Sam's hand touched her shoulder. "When did Salamanders grow claws anyway?" she asked, then followed Sam's eyes as his attention turned toward the TV screens in the corner of the room. "Huh..." she looked a little closer. "It looks like they're cheap surveillance cameras..." she raised an eyebrow. "Okay. So, fuck the cat. I'm curious..." she said as she activated the system.

Sam smiled at Anna's 'fuck the cat' comment, then looked at the surveillance camera as the view changed. "Me too..." he replied, though he was secretly wondering how the surveillance system was running when there was low power on the floor. But before he got the chance to ask that question, his train of thought was distracted by the sight on the screen. "Wow..." he looked at Anna, then back to the screen. "So, this little room here has visual access to the entire town above ground...that's...kinda creepy."

Anna raised an eyebrow and nodded in response to Sam's comment. "Okay so..." she paused. "We're in..." she looked at the sign on the general store. "Mentone, Texas? What's so special about Mentone, Texas?" she asked with a shrug.

Sam turned his head toward Anna sharply. "Mentone, Texas? That's the least populated town in the United States...it has a mind bogglingly large amount of fifteen people in it!" he looked at the screen. "Hey...is that Dean?" he asked as he glanced at another screen, focusing on an almost Brady-esque looking house.

Anna's eyes widened when Sam told her how few people were actually in the town of Mentone. "Wow...well, fourteen now. Minus one zombified and now de-zombified guy..." she joked, then turned sharply back to the screen when Sam mentioned seeing Dean. "Hey! And that's Raina with him!" she gasped.

Sam chuckled when he saw what Dean and Raina were doing. "And they're breaking into that house. That's badass!" he said with a small laugh. "And so typically Dean..." he shrugged. "Oh well. So...our new mission is to meet up with them now? Before we get the hell out of here? Meaning...we need to continue on."

Anna nodded and looked around the room. "Right, but...we should check out the room first...you never know when you're gonna find something we can..." she paused, when her eyes fell upon a gun on the table in the center of the room. "Hey, Sam?" she asked, watching as his attention came to her. "How are you with a gun?" she wondered aloud.

Sam turned when Anna asked him how good he was with a gun, then watched as she turned around with a Beretta in her hands. "Pretty good, and you?" he shrugged his shoulders, then watched as she approached him and put the gun in his hands. "All right...now it's a party!" he said as he checked to see how many bullets were in the clip. "Full clip! Let us go!"

Anna grinned and stood behind Sam as he opened the door. "The plan is as follows. You shoot it until it falls, and I take this..." she said as she picked up a metal chair from beside the table. "And beat it absolutely senseless...sound good?" she winked.

Sam laughed at Anna's 'meticulous planning.' "I could have thought of that..." he said as he pushed the bookcase out of the way and opened the door. "Shall we?" he asked as Anna nodded, and he made his way out into the hallway, he aimed and fired three times at the salamander creature, until it fell to the floor, and then Anna began to beat it senseless with the chair. "Uh..." he said once she looked back up at him, "remind me to stay on your good side?"

Anna grinned and walked back to Sam's side, picking up one of the legs of the chair that had fallen off on her way. "Noted. So, where to now, my friend?" she asked, shaking some of her hair out of her face.

Sam took the situation into account. "Well, we have a busted elevator, a hall infested with Sal and the Salamanders and a gun with twelve rounds...I'd say our options are kind of limited..." he chuckled and leaned against the door they'd just come out of.

Anna sighed lightly. "Sounds like a party. A bona-fide blasty..." she looked up and down the hall. "When are options not limited for us, Sam?" she asked with a deep sigh. "Next stop...wherever the control room to the elevator is..." she chuckled.

Sam pointed to the first room he saw, a room in the middle of the hall and shrugged his shoulders. "How does that room sound?" he asked and started walking in that direction.

Anna followed Sam's lead and walked in behind him when he opened the door. "Hey..." she looked at the table in the middle of the room, which was lit up by candlelight--which struck Anna as weird. "Here..." she said as she handed some bullets to Sam. "Now we have a rousing twenty-eight bullets!" she chuckled. "Does it strike you as odd that this room is lit up? And...now that you mention it, why was the surveillance system on in the other room?"

Sam nodded his head and walked up to the candle, lighting the room. "I was wondering about the surveillance system myself. But the candle thing is really weird...apparently, we're not alone in here..." he said as he looked over to the corner of the room. "Hey, Anna...zombie..." he said as he aimed his gun at it.

Anna stopped Sam from shooting and approached the zombie, leaning down to break his neck. "We don't have bullets to waste, Sam. For now, if it's just a zombie, let me take it, okay?"

Sam showed Anna a look of concern. "You know, that'll take some getting used to..." he chuckled a little and ran a hand through his hair.

Anna smiled and took a couple of steps toward Sam. "I thought the same thing at first. But I'll tell you what Raina told me. When it comes down to snap a neck or die? I'd rather snap a neck..." she said as she brushed her hands off on her shirt. "You get used to it real fast."

Sam's jaw dropped and he nodded in agreement. "You know, when you put it that way? I'm already used to it..." he said, noticing that Anna's shirt now had a brown, slimy stain on it. "How do you get used to that?" he asked, pointing to her shirt.

Anna laughed. "Eh...a lot of patience and an extensive wardrobe..." she winked and put a hand in her pocket, then looked around the room. "So, aside from Mr. Limp-Head here, what else is in this room?"

Sam walked over to a control panel in the corner of the room, which also seemed to have power to it. "This...it says...'to unlock basement floor number one, press button below,'" he looked at Anna. "Wonder what floor we're on right now?"

Anna shrugged her shoulders and chuckled. "I don't know, but I'd really rather be anywhere but where we are...wouldn't you?" she asked with a shrug and a chuckle. "Let's push it and see what happens..." she said as she pressed the button, then noticed a blue lever, which said 'B2F Elevator' above it. "Look!" she almost shouted as she pulled the lever. "And that, my friend, solves our elevator problem!"

Sam ran a hand through his hair, as some annoying strands had found their way into his eyes, then chuckled. "Wonder how I didn't see that..." he watched Anna lift a chair from the ground and throw it into the wall. "New weapon?" he asked as he saw her pick up a piece of metal from the floor.

Anna nodded and put the piece of metal underneath her belt. "Yeah. Now I have two. You shoot, I hit things. At least until I find something to shoot with too..." she winked and smiled at Sam. That look on his face...and that little piece of hair that always seemed to find it's way back in front of his eyes...he was so adorable. The type of guy that...no, no. It was way too soon for that. "To the elevator, Sam!"
