Food, Canada Day, reading, OPD, phone, etc.
Life is fairly good this weekend. My grand parents came down on thursday/friday and we went to see a play & a musical in stratford. They also brought up a lot of stuff that had accumulated in ottawa for me. I finally got my sim card, some pants, and a lot of cooking tools. Hopefully this will make the dinner party easier next time :-)
I've been procastenation writing the letter to OPD trying to convince them to make up there mind for next semester this semester. Everytime I sit down and try and bash something out for OPD I feel the energy draining out of me.
I finally got my phone activated on the fido network (1-519-694-0669) and I don't pay anything more for incoming calls :-)
I'm in the process of getting my own dial-around server set up so my out-going calls will be unlimited as well. However the latency from my server to the VoIP network I was going to interconnect with + my cell latency will be unaceptable, so I'm going to have to wait untill I get my new server set up (still have to sort out that customs dealy).
Also I have to take my laptop in for repairs.
