goings on (guitar, bike) and dance/rave
So I had guitar class again yesterday after a rather long break. I'm going to try and learn the portal still alive song FTW.
Costume pandas are progressing, I got more alligator clips so I can hook up all the sensors. My FTDI board had a loose connection so I re-solder them and its working like a champ. Rather than re-attach ends to the el wire I've got, I've ordered some female connectors which I think I'll attach to the JST connectors for the sequencer :)
Fixed bike has been fun pandas. I've finally gotten to see the glow-in-the dark effect of the the paint. It needs a touch up in a few spots, but otherwise its pretty awesome. Depending on how the weekend goes I may work on the spoke POV kits :)
I'm kind of torn about techno pandas tonight, on one hand I'm tempted to stay home and read math/algorithm books, but I think I'll probably enjoy the going out more and I can do some reading tomorrow/rest of the weekend. I think part of it is that I haven't gotten around to decorating any of my rave pants with el wire yet which I was hoping to do, but the attacher thing I was going to use got lost in the mail and I didn't really feel like doing a lot of manual sewing (my sewing machine has spoiled me :p) If its arrived today though I may try attaching a bit before I head out :)
I'm also going to turn my hair pink again this weekend (haven't decided if I should do it on my own, or pay someone).
A week this Friday John Digweed is going to be @ the king kat, which should be fun :)
