Chatting @ work & side-projects & life
I was chatting with a co-worker about side projects and the like and he mentioned that I will eventually "out-grow" this. I do not like this idea.
Life has been incredibly busy as of late. My stats midterm is Wednesday, and they still haven't spoken to my proctor :p Since today is a federal holiday (but not for me), no one is around to answer my question as to if they actually will be sending my midterm... I will assume they will, and will study tonight after I get this damnned stuff working.
My current project is semi-crunch mode, I suspect that it will be more like crunch mode in a few weeks time. This is for entirely non-interesting reasons however.
My side-project as such hasn't gotten much love :( I'm going to try and get some more work in on it this weekend. Current plan is integrate a nice module, upgrade the base, and make the sign-up form less confusing. Then I'm going to write some tests for the C stuff I'm pulling in, and (hopefully) once I get all that done, I can hack on the core some more. I'm not sure I'll be able to get it back up running against my mail just yet, but end of the month the goal is to have it working against my mail and possibly others the month following.
