underestimating demand
I would appear to have underestimated the domestic demand for used books from amazon.ca . Long story short, I figured most of the purchasers would be American and set it up so that I would break even on Canadian transaction, but make a profit on American transactions. To test my software I did a sample run of about ~50 listings and by the morning 4 of them sold (all to Canadian buyers). So it would appear to have to adjust my strategy slightly.
