shake and bake!
today was part 1 of orientation for zara. which is a company started in 1979 in spain with over 2,000 stores in 53 countries and one of many growing chains apart of the indidex company. this is one of the many facts i learned during the orientation which lasted from 8:45 to 6:00 pm.
if you're thinking, "goddam that's long!!!" you are correct.
and with only 2.5 hours of sleep in you, that length seems like a lifetime.
it was fun, and i'm really excited about working for zara, but i'd look more excited if i were caffeinated today.
tonight. no popscene. tonight i will sleep. read. explore music. watch bride and prejudice!! not cough. take care of myself.
tommorow. another 8:45 to 6:00 pm session. which will be better. because i will be properly rested.
all my managers are adorbale. i hope i work in the men's or children's department. this store will be the biggest location in the united states. i've never worked for such a large global company. i'm really excited about this job!
