Did you hear about the party after the show?
NO CLASS TODAY = 4 DAY WEEKEND AFTER ALL!
Ben called me at 9:30 this morning because he locked his keys in his car. He was like "Please just be here by 2:00!" Sooooo I went at about 1:00, and I really didn't wanna show up at my high school...I had such a crappy time there WHY WOULD I WANNA GO BACK???
Anyway, I show up, and I plan to just go in the office, get them to call Ben up there and he'll grab the keys, and I'll be out...simple. But no. I walk in to the old principal who is unusually super nice, shaking my hand and "welcoming me back". Yeesh. So I go in the office and they tell me to sit down and they'll get Ben. Turns out, he is in the middle of a quiz so I'll be up there for a LONG TIME!
Lots of kids I vaguely remember (and some I really know!) come in and out, talking to me, shaking my hand, hugging me, so I was not hating it so bad by then. Mrs. Edwards, my old computer teacher, took me to her room all excited. She finally got some computers that are at least fairly modern and they are all the same! She always had a ghetto setup and she's very proud of her new room! So I stayed and chatted with her for a while. Then the old bell rang. I went out in the hall to find Ben when I found loooooottttsssss of others hanging around talking and hugging me. It turned out to be a really cool experience!
Well I find Ben finally and we head to the office so he can sign out. As we leave the office, Sandy catches us and says hi. Then as we walk out the door, someone screams "ADAM!!!!!!" and it's Gary. Ha ha he was like "YOU'RE 20!!!" all excited, that boy really cracks me up. Sandy said, "I saw Gary in the hall, and I told him 'Adam's here!' and he said 'So what?'. Then I told him 'Not Adam Holmes, ROBINSON! The one we care about!'" Aww thanks guys. So he, Gary, and Ben want a ride to the senior parking lot. They hop in the Saturn and when we reach the parking lot there are MORE PEOPLE THAT I KNOW! I had to quickly greet and leave, it was insane!
All in all, the trip back to PCHS wasn't that bad. I just know I wouldn't wanna do it often...
