Alright, I really hate to do this. This is extremely embarrassing for me, but I have to do it. My mom was recently in a very severe car accident. She rolled and totaled her vehicle, but managed to walk away with just two broken ribs and a compact concussion. The concussion gave her a lot of problems and she slipped in and out of coherency several times for about a week after the accident. She isn't walking well now either. Because of this, we lost our childcare and Kodie had to quit his job. I'm working 30 hours a week, not even full time, and I'm not sure how we're going to make it. My parents can't help us anymore, as my dad is in threat of losing his job due to his poor eyesite (he's an OTR truck driver). They've already got debt up to their ears, if he loses his job they're going to have to declare bankruptcy and god knows what will happen to mom if she doesn't get health care.
I'm still trying to pay off my ER bill, feed my family, and keep us all happy. Kodie has really been fantastic staying home with Gwen and this situation really has worked out for the better, but the money is what's hurting. Now we have a sick cat that desperately needs a vet visit, I have several cavities that need filled, and Kodie is on his last pair of contacts and needs both a vision exam and a new prescription. In short, we're desperate. We're trying to get government help, but they're giving us trouble over our tax refund, his recent quitting, and some paperwork screw up that said we made over $900 every two weeks. I'm going to put a donation button up here in hopes we can get together a little extra money to pay the vet bill or er bill or grocery bill, whathaveyou.
