"The Last Sin Eater"
Is this the latest movie that Peter has been in? Or was it "The Source"? I really liked "The Last Sin Eater" especially for the fact that I had no idea who Peter really was until I saw that movie. I knew of Methos because I had watched the four Highlander movies and then when watching "Highlander: Endgame" I really didn't think much of Methos because I knew so little about him and most of my focus was on what was going to happen to wonderful Connor MacLeod.
But then I saw "The Last Sin Eater" after watching the trailer for it at the Family Christian Bookstore. I still had no idea who Peter was (in fact I thought that Methos was played by someone else) and so I was watching the movie thinking how absolutely wonderful the actor was for the Sin Eater. There was so much sympathy drawn to that character after you first see him. It is thought that the Sin Eater has the devil cast in him so any who look upon him are vexed and suffer horribly.
But when Cadi Forbes (the main character of the story, a loving little girl who feels responsible for her sister's death) discovers more about the Sin Eater (as well as the true sin eater Jesus Christ) that she tries to help the Sin Eater free himself from this bondage that he has found himself in. I won't give the movie away because it is far too wonderful to spoil. But I will say this if you are specifically looking for Peter the most you see a the beginning of the movie are his eyes... which were so captivating because of the amount of sorrow that were reaching out to Cadi Forbes.
Through most of the movie you just hear his voice. But you do get to see his face near the end.
It's a wonderful movie... I can't say that enough! It's a solid family movie that has a great spiritual depth to it. The Behind-the-Scenes features is fun to watch and yes, Peter is in that as well.
