Addicted to appears (mysteriously LOVEppears on some lyrics sites) from Ayu. Old song, but love it to pieces and I have it locked on repeat in the car. There's just something really awesome about that song, and it counterbalances the overperky song that my sister is having me practice singing so I can substitute the minute for Jamie Anne. I have yet to choose the one minute! But chances are, it'll have a "watashi" in it. o_x; I feel my manly identity disappearing with each repetition. ;_; Breathe in, breathe out. If you ever catch me on AIM (I don't log on much these days, do I? O_o), ask and I'll distribute the Ayu song!
Started playing Final Fantasy V! The game is very different from how I remember it being. o_o Then again, Faris hasn't been introduced to the chancellor in Typhoon yet, and that was the part of the game I remembered the best, and that happens after finishing this segment of the game. I also recall having some reasoning for thinking that Butz was a princess of Typhoon (I think I played too much Faria, or maybe watched Ranma one too many times), but so far, I can't see the evidence for it. Maybe it followed the Faris introduction? Maybe I dreamed it all up? I mean, I did dream up a Stonemore spell in Dragon Warrior I.
Never underestimate the power of unlimited arcades! For $10 at Speedzone, I actually finished Time Crisis III with my 1337 shooting skills (hah!) and played through Soul Calibur II twice! With two different characters! Including Xianghua (who had a very cute ending) and... uh... some other guy with a sword who had a very uncute ending. I also DDRed to my favorite DDR song ever: If You Were Here. On beginner! Because I don't have any coordination. And tried one of those motorcycle games over and over and over... because I suck and never placed higher than last and was dissatisfied. I even played a similarly-structured skiing game and did just as well. I have decided: fighting, adventure and shooting games only. Racing games where I don't have a control pad just aren't my thing.
I am addicted to a Chinese song sung in the traditional Chinese style. o_o And the series attached to it. It's a great series! The super-honest guy and the super-skilled medic-martial artist. The girl also is deadly-cute when she has that cold-as-money face. *dies* Mmm. The rest of the characters kinda suck, but it's still a good series. I am also attached to the series with the dark-skinned Chinese guy with a crescent-moon on his forehead. It's like... the Chinese version of Sherlock Holmes. So good! Makes me want to watch Detective Conan to see what that's all about. And it has cute girls? o_o Not like that's motivation (for anyone but me! :D :D). But anyway! I am being Chinese-ified! Save me!
And speaking of Chinese stuff... did you guys see the Beijing welcome at the closing of the 2004 Summer Olympics? :D Cute Chinese girls! Squishably-cute! And they were all dressed in bright red, with FLECKS OF WHITE! And the Chinese acrobatics they did in the later part of that welcome made everything they did in the gymnastics days seem like child's play. Mmm... I'm looking forward to the closing ceremonies for 2008. I love Chinese performances. :D Especially if there are uber-cute Chinese girls who can simultaneously look ice-cold and happy. o_o *fans self* Maybe I'll save up enough money by 2008 to go see it live? <3 Or... I can apply for EAP to Beijing for summer 2008. HAHA! And cheat. *cough* And requires that I learn Chinese. ;_;
