I don't give a shit if Michael Jackson is dead. In fact, I didn't give a shit about Michael Jackson in the first place.
I agree with the girl, Ashley, who I work with: he didn't give a shit about us, so why should we care about him? He made music; that's about it. He was accused of child molestation, but "there was no proof." He acted like a weirdo, but "he had no childhood." I'm not going to say that I'm glad he's dead like my parents feel, since I really don't think like that, but if he had been someone else, things would be very different.
If you really find what I found offensive, whatever- defriend me. If I can't talk about this on my own LJ, then where else? It's a shame he died so young, but quit acting like he's the second coming of Christ.
