(no subject)
I almost ended up not going to yesterday's dollmeet, due to a sudden attack of laziness, but went anyway and had a nice time! Looked at a couple of outfits, in particular a shirt that I thought might fit Chelidon, but ended up not getting anything; the shirt made Chelidon's shoulders look huge, which actually I suppose they are because of the way Dollshe did the shoulder joints, but somehow it was never that obvious in most of the clothes I've stuck him in. Ah well. Perhaps one day I shall be rich and buy Chelidon one of those fabulously expensive Dollheart outfits that he would look amazing in. ... but first, since Kitarou should be on the way any time now, I really need to find somewhere that will sell me a black fur wig with kitty ears now that Luts doesn't have that style of wig anymore. XD Fortunately I have plenty of MSD clothes he can wear, since I am never able to stop myself from getting things for Aedon and Fray and Liet... Oh, and I need a new wig for Kira, too, the one I got from Kondoll is just not working for him at all. I found one on Leeke that might work, but I hesitate to shell out Leeke prices and shipping for a wig I'm not certain about, there are just never any suitable ones at dollmeets. D: The trouble is that I always want wigs with bangs, but there are no doll wigs with bangs in existence that don't end up covering most of the doll's face, at least in my experience, and faces are 90% of the reason I bought the damn doll in the first place, so...
Otherwise it has been a lazy weekend of sitting about reading Earthsea books, but at least I got some writing done, too - on side stories rather than the main AU, but ah well, once chapter 18 is thoroughly beta'd and posted I was going to take a hiatus anyway so I could try to get a bunch of chapters written (probably not the whole second half of the AU, because that will be something like thirteen chapters as currently planned, but at least four or five finished ahead of time would be nice). I already have two side stories started and a third practically finished to fill in the timeskip, plus a fourth one planned but not started yet, so the hiatus shouldn't be too painful, I hope. I was also going to use the hiatus time for re-reading the manga, but I think I've gotten enough of a head start on that (reaction posts slowing me down notwithstanding) that I won't need much hiatus time at all to be caught up. XD
