(no subject)
Mmmmmm, being home is so nice. \o/ I love having my kitty and the dog and the food that I don't have to buy and prepare myself (well, all the time - I did make a stirfry for us tonight) and just - ahhhhhhh, it is so nice. ALSO, getting to go to the local doll meetup!
The meetup yesterday was great! I got to see almost everyone and picked up great eyes and a nice wig for Kimimaro, he looks lovely. ♥ Pictures of him are up in brief_transit, think everyone who cares has seen them BUT I AM JUST SAYING IN CASE. I still need to take some more time to clean black gunk traces off his hands and his stringing is still unbelievably tight, but oh well, at least he's together and dressed and I love his wig and his beautiful fireface. *____________*
After the meet-up I went to a party for the current DHHS employees (that is where I worked with all the staples and AIDS), and it was quite nice to see people again, because I did have great co-workers even if I was dead of labs all the time. ... also there was fabulous chocolate cake. =d And today I sat around reading terrible Celtic fantasy SF and then THE GOLDEN COMPASS because Mark reading it made me want to re-read it super badly, and after that trilogy I'm going to take up Song of Ice and Fire again because hey, Dance with Dragons might actually fucking come out in July, MIRACULOUS. Plus the TV series makes me want to read it again. Ahhhhhh, so much to read! ... that is not stuff for my dissertation! WHOOPS.
Gotta replay FF7 soon, too. I just. I FEEL THE NEED because I read two good fanfics shut up.
