Well, I have so far had a quite uneventful Halloween, consisting mostly of a valiant effort to watch Naruto Shippuden (shut up, Crunchyroll's UK selection is really limited), a touch of homework/food shopping, and a spot of (AU) writing. Oh, and I went to a campus Halloween party put on by the Graduate Students' Association, which was fun! Some of my flatmates were there too and we all had a good time goofing about, even if the choice of dance music was on the silly side; I did not know there even was such a thing as a "Country Roads" dance mix, and am not sure my life is improved by the knowledge. XD Still, good times are good times! I need to ask my flatmates who took pictures if they could email me copies of them...
Shippuden-wise, rest assured I am properly ashamed of watching it*, but I was bored and I wanted to procrastinate on AU fic-writing** and it was there on Crunchyroll, so. I got through 20-odd episodes and - probably won't bother with any more unless I feel like going in and watching specific bits because it sort of backfired; I got so bored with everyone standing around flashbacking and talking about strategies that I ended up working on the fics while watching. Very sad, as I rather like Sasori's backstory and I approve of Sakura winning fights and she should do that more often, but I don't think I can sit through it anymore, not even for eventual Gaara revival. x.x At least we get the manga back this week, I have that to look forward to.
The Halloween event on Dragon Cave is killing me, I can't get one of the new eggs for anything. x.x
*LIES, I can never be entirely ashamed of it, I will always treasure my screenshot of chibi-Itachi getting whacked in the head by Sakura.
**All I can seem to think about is the damn AU and sidestories thereof, so for now I'm just throwing up my hands and saying "FUCK IT" and concentrating my efforts there. No idea if that'll help me finish it any faster and I hate leaving everything else by the wayside for so long, but - well, writing is writing, better to work on what I've got inspiration for than not write at all.
