I can only stare, dumbfounded.

After the semi-recent flamewar in this LJ, I thought I had seen pretty much the lowest depths to which stupidity can sink. Tonight, I learned that I should never think so, because stupidity has no lowest depths. The incident which enlightened me? I was reading Crimson (a very spiffy American vampire comic, with a bishie <3), and - there were these guys who decided to hunt angels. To kill. And sell their blood and such, because obviously angelic blood and flesh is pretty powerful. And not only did they decide to do that, they went and did it - killed a random angel named Eriel.

How bright is that?

(Okay, so it's a fictional case, but personally I believe that if a person can think of it, some person elsewhere is sick enough/stupid enough to do it.)

If I were God in that comic, I'd be sitting on my throne and saying, "Humanity, you bastards! That does it, I'm taking away the whole free will thing - and it's long past time New York went the way of Sodom and Gomorrah, anyway."

lol religion, on board the hellbound express, oh people
