(no subject)
After a brief cold snap that left me happily huddling under blankets and curling around my overheated laptop for warmth, local weather and nature have resumed hurtling headlong into spring. Pollen dump included. Ahh, this is going to be a summer that makes me want to crawl inside a refrigerator forever...
I am still gradually progressing on the thesis - more gradually than I probably should be... But slow progress is still progress! I also sort of made progress in Destiny, in that I did a partial King's Fall raid today with my sister and people from our 100.io group and managed to do both of the jumping puzzles in WAY less than an hour per puzzle! And I got a 304 Defiance of Yasmin and completed the Golgoroth challenge and got the last non-challenge calcified fragment I didn't have! \o/ THE "When do monsters have dreams" BOOKS OF SORROW CARD IS MIIIIIIIIIIINE. And the other two challenge modes are supposedly a bit easier, so if I can manage to raid a bit more often/faster, I should be able to get those (and then the "End of Failed Timeline" card WILL ALSO BE MINE, ALL OF THE PRECIOUS MARATHON REFERENCE CARDS WILL BE MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE).
... of course, I still did not kill either the Deathsinger Sisters or Oryx, but TOMORROW. TOMORROW WILL BE MY DAY. I have the Sisters checkpoint and nothing else to do! TOUCH OF MALICE, HERE I COME. I want that wicked-looking little black hole of a scout rifle so bad.
