(no subject)
Wow, I - did not mean to disappear like that... It's been a pretty busy week and a bit, I guess! My mother had shoulder surgery a week ago, so I've helping around the house and the store a lot in between grinding for Festival of the Lost candy, and also somehow have gotten what I'm pretty sure is the earliest start on my Yuletide assignment that I've ever managed. Seriously. It's already over a thousand words! DOWNRIGHT UNNATURAL. I hope this bodes well for me finishing it in time for a decent beta and lots of treat-writing, because I would like both of those things to happen. XD
... also there has been a small amount of thesis work accomplished. More of which is supposed to be done this week, but oh gods, how I'm not feeling it. I'VE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE is sort of how I feel about the entirety of going for a Ph.D, actually. NOT MY BEST LIFE CHOICE. But for now I just need a couple of hundred words about the history of editing texts with citations... and motivation.
