(no subject)
Haha, I wish I could say I have been busy these last few days, but - only with Destiny. And a small amount of thesis work. /o\ I did go see The Man from U.N.C.L.E. last night with my parents, though! I hadn't read much about it online since I never saw the original series and wasn't especially interested in it, but it was that or Mr. Holmes, and I really didn't want to watch a sad Sherlock Holmes movie, not even for Ian McKellen. Anyway, point is that I went into the movie pretty unspoiled and was ridiculously charmed by it. So much fun and glorious 60s fashion! I didn't know whether it was going to be a period movie or get updated, and I am quite glad it was a period movie after all. Gaby was amazing, I liked her from the start but fell in love when she was drunk-dancing in the hotel room. SO ADORABLE, SO GREAT.
In other news, "Letters from an Occupant" is completed! Also available on FF.net in three parts as part of "(Nice Dream): The Gaps In Between" and on brief-transit, again in three parts. Soon - it will be time to update the main AU, holy shit, I'M PRETTY EXCITED ABOUT THAT. But betaing must happen first! And I'm almost done with chapter 21, but not quite, and then chapter 22 I know is going to take forever to write because action scenes, so - yeah, get hype, but not too hype. Updates are probably not going to be any faster than they were before the hiatus, alas. XD (I really didn't mean for the hiatus to last even longer than the in-story timeskip...)
Also HOLY SHIT THE LATEST EPISODE OF RED VS. BLUE, HOLY SHIT, IT'S AMAZING. I will save more spoilery discussion till after it's public, but let me just say I am shipping Felix/Locus in a whole different way now.
