Today was aquarium day, and it was GREAT. They have some new exhibits focused on venomous animals, which included a tank of poison dart frogs. SO TINY AND PRETTY. And they also had baby copperheads!

But best of all things? THERE WAS A BABY NURSE SHARK IN THE RAY PETTING TANK AND I GOT TO PET IT. LIFE GOAL: HALF ACHIEVED (since I did not get to scritch its belly BUT PETTING IS ALMOST AS GOOD). And I petted rays too, of course, because they are soft like velvet, but BABY NURSE SHARK PETTINGS! The adults were snoozing as usual in the main tank and absolutely adorable. I love them so much, big sleepy things that they are. ♥

Tomorrow I'm going to be 32. Where the fuck does the time go?

P.S. I am on a temporary near-total break from meme, but I am always up for talking about Marathon in namespace. Or half-anon! Pretty sure I have anon comments enabled on this thing.

P.P.S. We also saw another dolphin yesterday evening while we were waiting to be seated at a restaurant! And a cormorant chilling on a dock drying its wings and giving no fucks.
