So, yesterday we had an eclipse! Which, in my infinite obliviousness, I did not actually realize until I was out the door and thinking huh, it seems darker out here than it should, even with the light cloud cover, and there sure are a lot of people taking pictures of the sky. Fortunately once I got to King's Manor, one of the other grad students had made a pinhole viewer, so I got to see at least a bit of it without burning my eyeballs. XD
Otherwise, not much to report! Thesis work continues (at a slightly slower pace since I have to go back through what I've already edited to check my Vulgate references against the Stuttgart version rather than the Clementine), the house-sitting is going well with acceptable amounts of kitty time... Just for the record, the downside of having two cats sleeping on the bed is that they are remarkably efficient at keeping you trapped in a very narrow sliver of bedspace. THANKS, CATS.
I have also begun a rewatch of Red vs. Blue in preparation for NEW SEASON ON APRIL 1ST MY BODY IS NOT READY but with luck the rewatch will help! Tonight is season 2. Ah, good times, good times...
