Today's Very Special York Weather: Hailsnow.

I can think of no other way to describe it; it was just little pellets of snow like hail, but - snowy.

What the heck, weather?

Heh, sounds similar to some nameless precipitation we were getting in Chicago just before my trip to Georgia. It ended up as regular snow but started out as... something somewhere between hail and snow and freezing rain? It kind of stuck to the ground in slick little pellets and made the sidewalk bumpy but not all that difficult to walk on, oddly -- though I wish I could say the same for driving >_< -- because it sort of fused together and formed its own tread.
