These are awesome! When I was a kid, I always wanted a Polaroid camera. I got one of those little Izone ones when I was in high school, but it broke a few years later, and then when Polaroid stopped making instant cameras, I thought all was lost. I'm really excited that they're coming back with new ones! I have a Fuji Instax, though, which I love. I need to get more film for it, though.
My camera actually used to be my father's. He had it since at least the 80's and I nabbed it went I went away to college. I thankfully was able to find some great deals on Polaroid film before they stopped producing it since now it sells on eBay for extraordinary amounts, even film thats a decade old.
I've never used a Fuji instant cam but that's the brand of my digi am which I'm pretty happy with.
The Fuji Instax is basically the design that Polaroid bought from Fuji for it's new 300 series...as far as I can tell, the only difference is Polaroid's comes in different colors http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-20003886-1.html (I'm actually super curious to see if the film from one can work in the other--might be easier to find film this way, haha!) I want to eventually try some of the fun Japanese film sets you can get for the Instax, since it came out in Japan first. Hello Kitty film!
That do look pretty nifty! My only concern about the new cameras is what type of film they will be producing for it. I hope it will still work in my old camera.
