A Texas school board devoid of historians has decided to completely redo their textbooks. The new textbooks would, among other things, ignore the importance of Thomas Jefferson, act as if McCarthyism was completely justified, deny important Hispanic figures, and ignore the fact that the United States was founded on the... principle of religious freedom.
Serving 4.7 million students, Texas accounts for a large percentage of
the textbook market, and the new standards may influence what is taught in the rest of the country.

Even Liam, who is not the traveling type, has admitted he'd be down for a return visit. Now I just need to find another job to help finance said excursion!
Brittany enjoyed quite a few drinks at
Cafe Lafitte In Exile and Molly's.
Cafe Lafitte is probably the bar I miss most as I loved the atmosphere. Not only is it the oldest gay club in the country but they have awesome Monday night movie night. I was able to gossip about celebrities with a slew of gay men.
In other news, Liam was saddened by the thin crust of Southern pizza.

Anyone with any hints or clues to the back story of this mystical creature should come forward as I would love to hear them.

Molest, molest.
Liam became biffles with the banjo player of this band. We seriously kept running into him everywhere and he was such a talented musician.
