An unusual version of America, Earth, this place replicates the 1950s and you will find no internet, your body has become human, there is no method of escape at present, this world does not use a system of EXP.

... By human, do you mean one who often experiences spending several painful hours in the bathroom straining his muscles as he takes a dump, only realizing that he requires a roll of tissue paper after he is done excreting his waste?

That is one symptom of being human, though I'm sure you could learn to avoid that.

Is there any way to turn me back, miss?

You'll get it back in the mail, eventually.

I do not understand. Are you saying that there is a cure I must consume, perhaps an Antidote or a Remedy, and that I will receive it after an indefinite period of time? Antidotes only cure Poison, though...

You will receive a box in the mail. It might be empty, or maybe it'll have a picture of your body. Either way, you'll have it back immediately.

A box with magical properties of questionable origin will arrive after an indefinite period of time and should I open it, its contents will return me to my machine state. Understood.

Pardon me, but I cannot help but notice that the person I am speaking to is anachronistic in speech.

Usually you'll get them after various town events.

This place draws in people from a variety of worlds and times.

Interesting. Does this place make use of blue police boxes? Rabbit-like creatures with space-time traveling capabilities? Doraemon?

You may find people with such things here, but this place itself does not. Think of it as a massive crossover game.

Like Jump! Ultimate Stars. Understood.

Are you a player character, miss?

For the purposes of this game, yes, although I was once a player. The NPCs are easy to distinguish, as they all act as if they've always lived in Mayfield.
