just one of them days...
today was one of those days when i felt like a bad teacher. reasons:
1. had big meeting with parents, admin., and others to discuss student status. i felt like it was my fault for not helping this child progress further.
2. it took me for-EVs to put together all the paper work for a field trip. after 2 sets of 7 class copies of 30 and several conversations with my VP about what needs to be done, i finally got copies out to the teachers on my GL. 10 minutes later, i get a complaint about the price i had set for the admission...they wanted me to fix it. with frustration, i told everyone to just have their kids make the correct changes because i wasn't going to make ANOTHER 7 sets of 30! argh. irras...
3. feel like i'm falling back from my corrections and giving feedback to my kids. it's been hella crazy here now that we're living in our new townhome and have been slowly moving things in. just all kine going on now...
4. i decided, no reunion. that $60 is going towards our new vacuum (or a fraction of).
commute isn't so bad...so far. about 20 minutes from here to work. still waking up the same time too.
anyway, almost past my bedtime. night.
