So, the IU v PU basketball game wasn't the only important victory today!
Yea that's right, our men's and women's fencing teams kicked ass today.
Final scores wound up (for the men's team):
Minnesota- Victory
Michigan State- Loss
Purdue- Victory (Thanks to the foils, you guys rock!)
Northwestern- Loss (but it was close, and Northwestern was GOOD)
Michigan University- Victory (I think, I don't remember the final scores)
Chicago- Victory
Overall I'd say we did real well. I myself fenced better than I expected. I learned so much today....it was really nice to fence northwestern, they were good guys who felt free to share information that can only make me better. That is a refreshing attitude at these fencing tournaments. I would put down everything I learned, but it would be boring and tedious, and apparentally 10 hours of fencing in one day actually makes you quite tired. So I am going to bed now.
