Who needs therapy when you have chocolate?

I haven't written in here for quite a while so there is a lot to catch up on.
Christmas was great. Well except for the fact that this is the first year since I was four that I haven't spent Christmas Eve with Pam. Her grandmother died just a couple weeks before the holiday, so they weren't really up for partying, which is understandable. I just need to find time to see her before school starts up again so we can catch up and exchange gifts.
My brother was out to ruin Christmas this year like he did to Thanksgiving, but the Christmas cheer got to him and not only did he NOT ruin Christmas, but he actually enjoyed himself.
My mom got me some cool stuff for Christmas this year. Among my favorites were the Nintendo Gamecube and the Entire Sixth Season of the X-Files on DVD. Dad got me an awesome belt that looks like a seatbelt and has the Mustang logo on it.
Derek and I celebrated our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY on Christmas day. We went to his family Christmas party like we did last year and played with his little cousins and exchanged gifts. Then I slept over his house. We had a great night.
New year was cool too. I slept over Derek's again. Jeff was there too. Well, after he came back from Hooters anyway. Mostly he just played Final Fantasy X-2 and drank Jack Daniels. I tried a little but it was nasty. We watched Bruce Almighty and How to Deal. Derek wouldn't let me sleep (except for a short nap) until 7:00AM. Then we slept through the entire day until about three. Sandra and Heller came over which was cool because I haven't seen them in a long time.
My cousins came over two days ago and we did the family Christmas thing. I took Nick to the hobby shop to look at trains. He's a great kid but he is so immature. He has the mentality of a five-year-old and he'll be thirteen in two months. I love him to death, and I wish my aunt would stop denying he has a problem and get him the help he needs. Samantha, as usual, was destructive. She decided it would be fun to paint my beanbag chair. She pisses me off. I am really worried about Devon too. She really doesn't talk to anyone, but I know she is having problems. I just wish I could do something to help these kids, but I really can't.
I go back to work today. I really don't want to though. I am working on writing my resume so I can apply to these two receptionist jobs. I might even get to do the Cad5 drawings. If I get one of these jobs I am quitting Kid's Kare. My boss is lazy and he never plans anything. We do the same old shit everyday and the kids (and the staff) are bored out of their minds. Plus I need money really badly and there is no way for me to work more than fifteen hours a week during school. Plus the receptionist jobs will most likely pay quite a bit more anyway.
Scott is home from the Navy. I'm kinda mad at him though because he is smoking and drinking and driving my dad's care really fast without a liscense.
I got my books for spring semester today. I only have four classes this semester - biology on Monday and Wednesday, child psychology and statistics on Tuesday and Thursday, and drawing on Friday, Except for the biology, this should be a fairly easy semester. At least I hope it will be. It sucks though because one of my classes is in Cathcart and I only have ten minutes to get there. Ugh. I have to apply to Lehigh and Arcadia soon, and I am really nervous about that. But I managed to pull off two As and two Bs last semester. That means my GPA is above 3.7, I am still imn the honor society, and I don't have even a single C on my transcript. Derek is confident that I will get into Lehigh. I hope he's right.
Well, that is all I can think of. Maybe I should update this damn thing more often...
