(no subject)
Today was aweesome. Well I didn't have to go to the track meet as planned, so i called up gary and was like "Hey, do u wanna practice?" that quickly changed into the whole band coming over and playing for the very first time in my garage lol. It was AWESOME. We played some song by Blink, and Are You Gonna be my Girl... It sounded AWESOME. Jet sounded great cause of the instrumentals being right on, but the vocals are so hard for me to get, hopefully i can hit the high notes in the chorus soon :/ . Well overall, it was the most accomplishing band practice i have had in any band... even better, we are having practice tomorrow also! 1pm in my garage if anyone decides to drop by. It should be good, but nobody come by to listen to us cause we dont play right through the songs lol we try them and fix and stuff, but u can come and hang out. Well i found out my new camera records loud music/distortion MUCH better than my old camera. I could hear EVERY instrument better than when I am actually playing. I was impressed lol. Well the band is called "Opening Act" currently, and it includes the following people:
Guitar 1- Nathan
Guitar 2- Frank
Bass- Gary
Drums- Billy
Vocals- Frank and Nat
I'm REALLY impressed with how the band sounds... I think this might go somewhere. Well the only bad part about the day was that i really wanted to see Nicole bad, but I had practice and she was babysitting.. She's feeling better for anyone out there that wanted to know. I'm going to see her tomorrow cause shes gonna come by during practice and afterwards. Well I --- was going to write something when I originally started this sentence 2 mins ago, but totally forgot lol. Well I smell like axe I'm going to say now.. got some of billys on me lol. Well i g2g later.
