(no subject)
This is the response my French professor/advisor emailed to me after I asked him to write me a recommendation for a job this summer. (It's a job that requires a huge deal of responsibility).
Would be delighted to do it. On a personal note: If I were to have anything important to trust to someone, it would be YOU without hesitation...

He just boosted my self-esteem by like a bajillion, which is nice because it's been seriously lacking.
Tomorrow at this time I will be on a plane on my way to Detroit and then on to Orlando. Hooray first class, but boo having a super messed up sleeping schedule. I'll be able to sleep from around 10-2am (this is all pacific time) and then 4-6:30am. And when I arrive in Florida it will actually be 9:30am. Oh well, at least I'll have the day to enjoy the sun and I get to see my lovely fam!
Almost there...just need to finish a paper, do laundry, pack, do some campus visit tours tomorrow, and attend my aerobics class and then I shall be home free...can't wait.
P.S. Why do I drink three shots of espresso after 7pm? I must learn.
