i had a surprisingly good day and it's made me very happy and a liiiiittle hyper <<. (both the former and latter are rare, but the latter very much so)
First i got up earily at about 9:30 and messed around for a bit, leaving the house at 11 to go to the Transfer orientation...thing at KSU. I wasn't one of the smart people that signed up earily and paid then, so i sat with all the other lazy people. But since i got there earily i was 4th on the list. After sitting around for a few minutes (they said it would be about 50 mins before they called us) and kicking myself for not bringing my PSP or my iPod (which was in my car..minus headphones x_x) i got up and wandered around the building. I found out some interesting stuff, like... um... well there's a game room.. but it's closed now..and um.. lots of ATMs.. but i don't have a credit/debt card <<. After a bit i come back to the waiting area and it's packed with people now o.o... so i take a seat in the back and just wait. After a bit they start calling names. Mine gets called and i move over to the payment desk about to hand them a 20 (it's $15) and 'we only take checks' o_O
So i walk off grumbling and one of the guys doing the sign-in says i need a name tag, i tell him i couldn't pay because i didn't have a check and he tells the woman in charge of the orentation about it. She says they'll take cash if it's the exact amount. So i go to the bookstore and break a 20 (i only had $14 in other bills ;_; ) So after it's all paid for i sit down and listen to the presentaion. After that was broke up into groups based on majors and then had a long tour around the campus. Most of that i already knew since I'd wandered around a bit before. Something else i already did was see a counseler (which was something I didn't actually need since i'd figured out what to take before that), which helped me avoid at least another hour sitting with the rest of my group as they figured out what classes to take and see the counsilers there. About 6 of us already did all that so we just went into the library's computers and registered there. All done. :)
Then wandered over to the financial aid office to see if what one of my mom's friends said was true. She'd said that her son..or daughter (i forgot which <<) had gotten the HOPE even though they had a 2.9 GPA like me after talking to the advisors there. I found out my GPA is still under evaluation since transfering schools changes your GPA. So i can still hope i get accepted before June 9th (the deadline for payment).
Came home and baked a pizza and sat down to watch the movie i got from Blockbuster called 6 Strong Men, i thought it was a japanese movie but it turned out to be chinese. Just as i hit play the phone rang. I thought about just letting it go but decided to see what creditor was calling today. Turned out to be Publix (i'd just resubmitted my application two days ago)! yay! It was a position in the deli department with an interview at 10:30 tomorrow :) What's better is it's the same publix two of my friends work(worked??) at! I'll finally know some people where i work! Here's hoping i don't botch this interview like the last one ;_;
After hanging up i watched the movie, which turned out really really good, i suggest you try and look for it sometime << Then did some more little chores before coming online. And what do i see!? A comic of Tsukihime 4-panals up for d/l!! (for those of you that don't know, Tsukihime is tied for my number one anime of all time ^^ ). And then after some looking around, another episode of Gundam SEED: Destiny!! w00t!!
After watching that i felt really happy and bouncy :D now i've got new sheets on my bed and all so today's been a great day!! *dances*
