the week is almost over, and good things are happening. first of all, this is spirit week at school, and today is my most favorite day of spirit week, pajama day. i get to wear my most comfortable clothes and it actually enhances the effect if i don't shave.
friday night is flogging molly, and they play again on saturday night. i've never had the opportunity to see them twice in a row, so i got a bunch of people to come along friday, and saturday is my solo concert experience. both are good - i like the social aspect, but its also nice when you can just go and listen and watch and not miss part of a song because someone announces they are going to the bathroom.
i ALSO heard that flogging molly is playing for free at some new irish pub saturday afternoon, so eric and i are going to check that out.
all of the flogging molly stuff is of course concurrent with the joy i will feel at the beginning of easter break.
then on monday my friend paul is coming to visit. of course i will have to show him around the strip, but i'm hoping he will get tired of that after one trip. he'll be here until next friday, so i'm hopeful for getting in some hiking at the hot springs. anyone who hasn't seen pictures or been down to the goldstrike hot spring can get a sense of it here http://www.birdandhike.com/Hike/LAME/Goldstrike/Goldstrike.htm
