PERSONAL QUESTIONS
Which character from Harry Potter, DISCLUDING the obvious answer of Harry, would you say you most admire and why?:
Snape, because, despite his bitter feelings toward James Potter and everything else, he still loved lily and protected her son till the end.
Which Hogwarts subjects would you be best and worst at - or otherwise like and dislike most?:
I think i would be best at potions because the sciences have always been interesting to me; it more often came easily to me; especially the more natural aspects of it. I think i would be bad at astrology, because i understand math well enough, but i find it incredibly boring, and i have never been the most precise with charts and graphs. seeing that those are key things for astrology, i think i would either dislike it or be very bad at it.
Which house would you WANT to be in, or which do you have most respect for and why?:
I would want to be in ravenclaw because: it has an endearing rhyme "wit beyond measure is a man's greatest treasure", and because i think the ghosts of ravenclaw have a very intriguing past.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?: in my past, i see mistake after mistake. i often wish that i had not been so mediocre and foolish.
If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?:
everyone in the world would become rational and come together in peace and harmony. racism, prejudice, hatred, war, and cruelty would cease to exist. and i wish i didn't just sound like Ms. America
How much use would magic have in your current everyday life?:
it could make things easier, for day to day things, like cooking and cleaning. and i guess you might be able to charm a drawing to move (for animation) but in general, magic wouldn't be very useful, since i mostly use technology. this is an odd question; i'm not sure how to answer. maybe i'm thinking about it too much? however, it would be nice to be able to summon your missing car keys or a pencil, or be able to locomotor books instead of biking the short but tiring distance to the library.
If you had one day left to live, what would you do?:
see if i could convince authors to tell me the endings of they're stories so i wouldn't have to die wondering what happens next. but other than that, i'd probably write to everyone i care about, tell them i love them, and make sure i have a will.
Tell us three random things about yourself:
I enjoy music i can't understand more than music that i can understand, because then you appreciate the melodic sound of the words more. i dislike construction projects, because they are disruptive and cause unneeded stress. I think i'm going nuts with anticipation waiting for an author to update her fanfic, because i want to read the next chapter sooo baad!

Practical or Abstract?: eh? both! i don't what you mean by abstract, but i love abstract art! but i think i'm more of a practical person

Standing your ground or Surrendering?: i suppose it depends on the situation. i think i'd be more for standing your ground because i have very strong opinions, but that can lead to trouble so i'll back down, its not like i have to mean what i'm saying.

Mature or Immature?: mature, but i find myself embracing immaturity for the fun of it lately.
SITUATIONAL / IN-STORY QUESTIONS
Would you hex someone who was bothering you there and then?:
um, no. unless it was something serious, that required self-defence.
What do you see in the Mirror of Erised?:
how could anyone possibly answer this question?! sure, somebody could say that they wanted a mansion and a billion dollar car, but more than likely they just don't realize whats most important to them. our own deepest desires are near impossible to tell.
What special wizarding power - i.e. Animagi, Metamorphagi, being a Seer - would you want to have?:
animagi, because i would love being able to turn into a dog or something... to become fluffy and adorable! and potentially dangerous!
In what situation would you use an Unforgiveable curse?:
in self defence.
Be honest - if you were in the wizarding community, what view would you take on blood heritage? (If you don't know, perhaps put your current views of class and the like into context): i'd be very liberal. blood wouldn't matter to me, but people who were prejudice like that would piss me off.
Imagine the Death Eaters come to your house, you being the head of an average wizarding family. They say join them, or otherwise give them ONE member of the family. What do you choose to do? What action perhaps would you take after making this decision?
i guess i would volunteer myself, because what kind of person forces somebody else to do something like that? but as soon as i am able i think i would take my family and go into hiding (leave the country or something)
Colin Creevey has been following you around all day, trying to get you to teach him a new secret spell he saw you do that he thought was cool. What do you do?:
"hey look! theres harry potter!" *runs away* and if that doesn't work, well i guess i'd tell him to leave me alone, and that no was no, or i'm gonna sue him for harassment.

um... maybe, depends if the war was still in process.
