A Quick Update ... Check it out!
Hello, everyone. Just an update on some things involving the Start of Term Contest, the Spirit Cup, and house liaisons.
First, I'll be posting the rules for Description Contest, on behlaf of hogwarts_spirit, on Monday. Please look over the rules again and let me know if they need to be altered in any way.
Also, should we let everyone know about the Spirit Cup contest ahead of time? I don't mean we should tell them about all the details, but maybe we should introduce the idea to them. Perhaps we could say something like "Be sure to keep an eye on all the most active members of each house" or tell them to keep in mind nominations for the Spirit Cup.
If we do decide to do that, I think we'll need the Spirit Description from tmyers526. However, we might now. I don't know; I guess we'll have to discuss it. :P
Finally, rawtoast came up with an excellent idea of a contest that supports a house-wide effort to win it. However, we can't come up with a contest like that. Any ideas? What type of contest can we host that encourages everyone from each house to participate? Hmm ...
Oh! And, I nearly forgot, about the House Liaisons ... I went ahead and mentioned the idea in the Hufflepuff Common room. I know tmyers526 can mention it to Slytherin. But what about Ravenclaw and Gryffindor? Do we have anyone who could introduce the idea? Or, better yet, is there a Gryff or a Ravie reading this who would like to volunteer for the position? Let us know. :)
