Another idea ... UT-OH!
A Note: I just revised our User Info. Please read over it and let me know of any mistakes, typos, whatever! Also, if you have any suggestions/additions, be sure to let me know. :)
I also came up with another contest idea that we could use for next term (since, I believe this one is almost over). Basically, I feel we should award a Spirit Cup. :) And I was thinking we could use the one from our sidebar and 'engrave' whoever's house on it. I'm not sure whose graphic that is, but we'll definitely do some research before using it (Duh :P).
I think, at the start of the term, we could count participation points. If you vote on an application, you get a mark. We'll do this for every application. Also, with Blaze's approval and help, we could award marks for those who participate in hogwartssorting contests. That's all I can think of, but be sure to let me know of any mark-worthy things (perhaps discussions with meaning).
At the end of the term, we'll add these marks up and award the Spirit Cup to whichever house that wins. This, as I see it now, is not a contest for points, but just for bragging rights. You get this awesome cup to add to your User Info and a little blurb to add to your signature. :D Of course, we could try and make it a point-granted contest. It's up to what you all think and, of course, Blaze.
What do you think? Again, feel free to add any of your own ideas to the community. That would be great. :D

P.S. rawtoast: I have a few questions to ask. :) 1.) Would you mind if I put your contact information on the User Info page so that, if anyone has any questions (which I doubt they will), they can get ahold of one of us? 2.) I haven't seen prncssleia around in a while. I commented on post of hers and haven't had a reply. So, should we look for another maintainer to help us around here? Preferably someone with HTML skills so it all doesn't fall on you?
