MOD POST
No, you read that right, this is your moderator speaking. After many considerations, life issues, and some discussion with Shanti, the position of moderator was passed on to me. This is a very bitter-sweet moment for me. I am saddened by the idea that Shanti will no longer be our moderator, but at the same time I am exited/anxious to take on the responsibility.
And, what a responsibilty it is. I am eternally grateful for the groundwork that Shanti set. Her intial, almost obsessive, devotion to Hogwarts Lives allowed for it to be created. The amount of work she put into it I respect to the utmost. I honestly don't think I could've done half of what she did in twice the time. That's why I'm lucky to ride on her coat-tails.
Recently, I think Hogwarts Lives has stagnated. No one person is to blame, and there are those who have consistently attemtped to keep things moving, but I doubt any one would deny things have slowed down recently. I am currently working on plot, which I hope will provide some forward-motion for the comm. I am also going to be making some cosmetic changes, so don't be shocked if you check back one day to find the layout changed.
My hope is that I can bring Hogwarts Lives back to its full potential. I know everyone will have questions, so feel free to comment or, if you'd like, email me. I will keep you posted as things change.
