Popcorning John Adams

((Emma-mun, please forgive me for jumping ahead and assuming our thread is complete. We can finish it if you want, but don't feel obligated.))

Having come to his senses after the discovery of the letter and the book of notes Susan sent him, or at least waiting until his hands stopped shaking, John politely escorted Miss Woodhouse out and barricaded himself in his room. When his letters to Susan and Dib both came back unopened, he began to fear the worst.

Leaving Ravenclaw tower, looking worse for wear, he managed to make his way to the popcorn room. Slowly running his finger down the list of names, it hesitated on Dib and stopped completely on Susan Sto Helit. He slumped against the wall. Both the people he knew were gone, likely never to return in the same state, according to Susan's information. In the meantime, he'd met no one else, no one had been interested in his offer of conflict resolution, he'd learned very little magic, he missed his wife, and his delicate work in Congress at this crucial period was either not progressing or was being done by someone else. With no obligations tying him to Hogwarts, he decided to leave.

John returned to his room and began to pour through the notes. Either they'd get him home or he'd follow where Susan went, and both were preferable to his current existence. It took some time to complete the preparations, following her directions line by line, and by the end of it, the name John Adams appeared on the wall of the popcorn room.
