Al tucked his new kitten, Dena, snuggly in a nest of blankets. He hoped she'd be all right without him for a few hours. He hesitated before opening the door, seriously considering taking the kitten downstairs with him. But she'd be frightened and confused by all the noise and people, and might even run away or something. He was excited to finally meet some of Ed's friends, and took the stairs two at a time, jumping off the last one.

"Hey, brother!"

"Yeah, I invited him, so he might show up." Ed had no idea what Homsar did with Jenga, and that was really for the best.
