I would certainly mourn if you were unable to attend the festivities I've planned here at Hogwarts, but I understand your wish to go home for the holidays. As for costume, I am pretty sure I have an Evil Jester outfit lying around, which you are of course welcome to borrow. If you are keen on something glowing, however, I'm sure I have something like that as well, just say the word!
