A goodbye

"To All Our Friends:
We, Honor and Nimitz, have decided that the time has come to leave Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This decision is one that we did not come by easily, but it has become obvious to us that we must return to our own world and time and face our obligations there. It is with a full and heavy heart that we take our leave.
We would like to thank all of you for the wonderful time we've had here, and for all we've learned. The friendships we've formed will go with us wherever life takes us. The knowledge that the universe is even more magical and wondrous than we knew is something we'll treasure as long as we live. And if someday it is possible and practical to return, we shall, without hesitation.

Thank you for talking with us when you did. It helped me, Honor, to crystallize this decision. It takes great courage, one thinks, to face one's heart. Also, Nimitz hopes you suffered no permanent injury as a result of his accident.
We also wish to extend you an invitation, should you ever find your ship again, to visit us. Enclosed is a data chip with a star chart detailing the location of the Star Kingdom of Manticore (including our home planet, Sphinx) and our second home, the planet Grayson. I am assuming that whenever you get your ship back, you'll be able to find some way to read it. We do hope our paths cross again.
