"Did you bring me grapes?" Jack asked as soon as he saw the Doctor. Very happy considering everything.

[ninth_doctor]

"...Why would I have brought you grapes? Oh, nevermind." Smack. Thwacking Jack in the head = fun fun time. He took a seat by the bedside. "That's for doing that hypothermia thing in the first place."

"Oh yes because I wanted that to happen. Yes. I wanted to collapse and feel like I was going to die... again." Jack rolled his eyes and folded his arms. "I'll have you kicked out if you do that again." He'd try at least.

[ninth_doctor]

"I only had one reason to hit you. Are you going to give me another?" He crossed his arms and leaned back in the chair. "Look, we need to talk. And not about the usual things we can't talk about but try to anyway."

"No." Jack didn't feel like getting hit again. "Okay..." Jack sighed. "This about that thing I brought up?" Jack smirked, he couldn't help it. Sounded wrong.

He glared. Oh, that smirking was not a good idea. "Yes, as a matter of fact. That THING you brought up."

"What about it then?" Jack stopped smirked at the Doctor's glare.

[ninth_doctor]

"I want to know how much you know. I want to know how you know. I want to know why you know. Let's start with the last one first, hm?"

"It was an accident, at first. I was just trying to find you." Jack shrugged. "I kept looking after I found out the first pieces. Though maybe it would explain a few things better and help me understand why the hell I died, why you left me. That's why."

[ninth_doctor]

"Jack...why the hell would that have anything to do with why you died and why you were left?"

"Daleks."

[ninth_doctor]

He grew quiet, looking quite uncomfortable. "...I see. But that wouldn't have to do with why you were left behind, at least."

"I always thought they were a myth along with the... war. They recognised you." Jack continued ignoring what the Doctor said. "The Oncoming Storm you called yourself. Said they feared you. Who wouldn't be slightly curious at that?"

[ninth_doctor]

"Oncoming Storm," he repeated. "Karshtakavaar, Bringer of Darkness, Destroyer of Worlds, Ka Faraq Gatri. I've got a lot of names through the universe. Heh, I just never thought any of them would be true..." He closed his eyes and leaned his head back. "I suppose I shouldn't blame you for wanting to look things up, then."

Jack nodded he'd come across a couple of them in his research. "I had to search a lot, and there was some bad deals made. Even for me."

[ninth_doctor]

"I should hope so, I had Mickey erase all trace of me with a computer virus once. But I suppose if anyone would've found anything, it would've been you." He smirked, just a little, looking at Jack. "So, uh...you said, about what you found out, that it wasn't a lot, but...enough. The basics, yeah?"
