Secrets post 5!

Sep 16, 2006 00:14

There is a noticeboard up outside the Great Hall and one by one, images are appearing pinned to the corkboard, with students tacking up thoughts on the images on index cards. Nobody can ever catch anyone posting an image, only the comments, and there is no way to use magic or science to know who posted what.

OOC: what is this thing and what are the rules? )

Did you say half-troll there, chickadee? You got a thing for men with size?

Oh! What a completely unrelated matter but a great coincidence. I know of a half-troll who's looking for a nice woman. And I also know, from personal experience, that he's very tall.

You know a half-troll? It's not very nice to mock someone. How would you know a half-troll and why would he be looking for a nice woman? Why isn't he with other trolls? Answer me that, smart boy.

*In obviously larger writing*

Well! Thank you for asking. I know a half-troll from my trips into Hogsmeade. He is lonely, like you, and is looking for a nice woman to spend his days with, and to help fix him up into a proper gentleman. But mostly, he just wants to cuddle.

You don't have to be insulting, you know.

*in flowery, spidery, writing*

You're helping a half-troll look for a woman? A half-troll who wants to be proper? Who wants to cuddle? Can you pardon the insults if it's hard to believe such a thing?

I will pardon them.

Ahnpey Ceeh is a wonderful catch. He *The ink appears to be a different shade, as if it has been written more recently than the first part of Wolfram's reply. It seems to point to how long the blond stood, trying to think of what to write* is very tall.

He's a strapping man, with good prospects, a furnished cave, space for a garden, lots fertilizer and loads of eagerness and devotion. I'm afraid my mate here doesn't quite know how to talk a lad up.

I do so know! But Ahnpey is not a lad. He is a man! With full-on... manliness. And he can kill puppies with his bare hands.

He doesn't like to.

Well I'm glad you remember his maniless but you weren't talking it up. And what's this with the puppies now? You want to frighten her away?

Puppies? A manly half-troll who doesn't like to kill puppies? And I'm not frightened, dear. I've seen a thing or three. I'm just curious how this Ahnpy's managed to have love solicitors.

She's not frightened. She is very attracted by this evidence of his strength! And we helped him because he touched a part of us, inside. Some would call it pity, others compassion.

We call it... awe.

There. NOW who can't talk up, Mr. Talky Talky?
