What, no vote?

*blinks at her, then sweeps her a bow*

Sara - what would your problem be? You certainly attract men easily enough.

You damn well know what the problem is. You know my type. Do I ever get my type?

*glares*

It's not like Grissom has ever actually been involved with anyone. But do you let him be interested in me? Oh, no. I get Hodges sucking up to me. And okay, he's maybe a little less loathsome to me now than he used to be, but still. And if that's not enough, you have to get me all messed up and flirting with Sanders. He's young and ... and ... funny!

So then I come here to get away from it all and there's what, 7 or 8 Professors I could be involved with? But no! You still have to be an asshole about this and hook me up with young cute guys. And make all the ones that are my type either weird creatures, gods, taken or gay.

It's the same stupid thing, over and over and over again.

Just what the hell is wrong with you?!

*solemnly* I think you should change your type.

Sanders was much better for you than Grissom would have been, really. That sort of dependence isn't healthy. As for the others being gay, taken or weird creatures...

*eloquent shrug of muscled shoulders* I need to make sure everyone has a partner, even if certain people take longer than others.

*looks at her consideringly* Hm. What about that Francis?

Yeah, I noticed. In fact, the last few weeks I thought you were trying to hook me up with Sofia! Not that she's not attractive, but, um. Not really sure I swing that way, ya know?

Sanders is ... Sanders. Hell, I can't tell if he and Nick are boffing or he likes me or what.

Francis Crawford? Oh yeah, he's kind of new around here. He is a Professor and really, really old, sort of. I suppose I could try that if he's interested.

*amused look* Anyone can swing any way, if the mesh is right.

...*refrains from commenting*

He is your type - older, academic, authority figure and very fond of pretty women. *winks*

Right.

*notices pause;refrains from saying more*

Okay, that sounds interesting. I'd be willing to give it a whirl.

I'll vote for you, too. Sorry about the um, outburst. I'm not feeling all that great today. Think I'm coming down with something.

*pats on shoulder sympathetically* Quite all right. Mortal immune systems are a pain - I really don't think you were designed properly.

And you know, I could always help it along a little... *flicks an arrow tip meaningfully*
