"You're such a loser," Roxy said as she stepped into the ring. She looked at the stones and gulped. It would take all of her concentration to manipulate the heavy weight with enough skill to avoid squashing Wolfram flat. He was a jerk, but he didn't need to be a two-dimensional jerk. She suddenly realized that Wolfram might have a better chance than she thought.
Strong Bad sauntered up. "Is this like a carnival game or something? Ring the buzzer and win a prize? Sure, I'll ring that buzzer. I better win something good though. Like a stuffed The Cheat or a sack of grumblecakes or something."
Ryuk looked at the duel area, laughing. "This is going to be fun." He flew behind Wolfram and whispered, "Hey, make her pay for disrespecting your king. Show no mercy." He also flew behind Roxy, "This guy thinks he can beat you easily. Prove him how wrong he is by humiliating him." Ryuk then flew outside of the circle and hovered there. "May the best being win!"
Gogo was taking Kuro-pip for a walk when she noticed the commotion. A fight? It wouldn't be to the death, of course - stupid no-kill rule - but it might be fun to watch. She picked up her devil and smiled.
"You're going to hit each other with one-tonne stones?"
Ryuuji had been on his way to chop wood. Because it was exercise, and exercise was good, and chopping things to pieces made him feel less like trying to dismantle Hogwarts with his bare hands. Except this looked like a fight, and that would be more interesting, and hey, it would be fun to see Wolfram getting squished!
With a flip of his ponytail, he sauntered up and stood outside the ring, patting one of the stones. Heh. As Hogwarts's peacekeeper, he really ought to just explode the thing or maybe melt it down, but Ryuuji didn't really feel like being responsible today. Instead, he shot Wolfram and Roxy a bright, innocent grin, "Good luck, both of you. Let's have a nice, clean fight."
That said, he stepped back, intending on keeping himself a safe distance from the fight.
Wolfram just unbuckles his sword and sheath from his belt, and hands them to Ryuuji. "Here, Ryuuji, you are the only person here I can trust with this. Keep it safe until I am done schooling this human wench in manners."
He then smartly turns away, walking into the ring.
"...?!" Utterly bewildered by why he, of all people, should be considered trustworthy, Ryuuji took the sword and sheath carefully. Huh. He felt a little bad now about having wished Wolfram to do badly, so called after the other, "Right, best of luck!"
That said, he settled down to watch the fight, sitting cross-legged with the sword and sheath resting in his lap. This should be interesting, to say the least.
Wolfram limped back to Ryuuji, holding himself as if he had won the duel with a daring feat of strength and not on a technicality. He held out a hand, imperiously. "Now return my sword to me."
He looked out at Roxy's retreating form. "She was overcome with fear and lost her concentration. It is obvious she has never received a soldier's training!" And it was also obvious that Wolfram was doing everything he could to make people forget the image of him twirling in the air.
Roxy stepped into the ring and cracked her knuckles. She made a big show of taking off her leather jacket and tossing it to the side, revealing her superhero costume underneath. After sliding on her fingerless gloves she pushed her pink streaks out of her eyes.
Wolfram is the opposite, carefully making sure that his uniform is properly buckled and straight before running a hand through his shining hair. He makes a face at her turn of a phrase.
"You are a very sad, nasty little girl, and I will enjoy seeing the tears of pain in your eyes." He steps into the ring and hunches down into a ready position, as he prepares to dodge a one tonne stone.
At the sound of the buzzer Roxy threw her hands out in the direction of the stone closest to her and focused her powers. With a gasp she lifted the rock off the ground and hurled it at Wolfram as hard as she could.

"Okay. Let's kick this pig," she said.
