Harry’s brave and handsome and so very strong!

Heh...

His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad,
His hair is as dark as a blackboard.
I wish he was mine, he's really divine,
The hero who conquered the Dark Lord.

Hello, Ginny. My name is Tom Riddle.

It's been a long time.

Moving to violence so quickly? Why, dear, sweet Ginny, I'm just getting started.

Let me see if I can recall, oh yes!

Dear Tom,

I think I'm going mad! I woke up today and there were feathers all over my clothes! There's red stains down my robes! Tom, oh, Tom, I think it's blood!

And now look at you. All grown up and just spilling over with energy. I think the sorting hat will love you.

I can go deeper, you know. I recall everything.

Moving to violence so quickly?

Of course, you'd assume that. Some of us have our wands at the ready to protect ourselves, not to use offensively. Imagine that!

I recall everything.

So do I, Tom. So do I.

Yes, it took a while for it all to come back, but it's there.

I'm not afraid of you, nor am I afraid of my childish scribblings from several years ago.

Harry this, Harry that... It's you we need to hear about, not someone you think is better than you and wanted to protect you and all that. It's really not a healthy way to define yourself. And why not just offer to teach the hex as your bribe instead of saying you'll date any boy who votes for you? That sounds like low self esteem to me. I'm a little worried about you.

You must not know Harry. He's definitely worth hearing about. I don't believe I said he was better than me at anything but quidditch, and it's simply a fact that he is. I don't think being honest about my strengths and weaknesses is unhealthy. Boys seem to prefer to date me rather than learning hexes from me. I suppose if one of them asked, I'd be just as willint to teach them. Is there anything else you'd like to hear about me?

Yes, but this is your application, not his. It should be about you.

And what if, as you say, "boys prefer to date you"? Do you really mean you'd go out with any boy who looked at you?

Are you one of those Psycho-mediwizards? Because if you are, I haven't engaged your services, and I'm not paying you.

I don't know you, so I don't know what reasons you might have for squibbing or not squibbing a person.

Oh, I see. You don't date girls, then? The hex is a good one, and difficult.

That one boy broke up with me. I'm free to date who I chose.

Tom's not that bad.

And what if I'd rather learn that hex than date you? Though it sounds rather a useless type of hex to me.

I'd be happy to discuss that with you sometime. I have a great deal of experience with Tom. Enough to form my own opinion of him.

I'd be happy to teach you the hex. I've found it quite useful, myself.

Oh, come now, Ginny. You loved me before. Enough to carry me around with you wherever you went. Enough to cry on me. Enough to spill your deepest, darkest secrets to me.

Are you saying that I mean nothing to you now? I feel so..so..so betrayed!

I loved what I thought you were, Tom. You deceived me. And you expect me to love you again when you're sharing my darkest secrets with the entire school?

Betrayed! *sputter*
