Though not a terribly outdoorsy person by nature, Susan had developed a habit of going for walks when the madness of Hogwarts got to be too much for her. And she'd been taking a lot of walks of late. The details of her path varied, but it generally took her down past the greenhouses and gardens, along the lake, and then up along the edge of the Forest before looping back towards the castle.
It was a pleasant afternoon, slightly overcast and breezy, but not raining, thank gods -- a good day for a walk. Once past the greenhouses, Susan began to relax. Her mind was awhirl with many things: her
conversation with Stephen, Teatime's
invitation, the
events of April first, and when and how she might
speak with Professor Lupin. To an observer, she appeared to be brooding, although she'd not have called it so herself -- she was thinking, was all.
