Unpopping the Doctor

[Wakes up in a very strange  room, even by his standards. Popcorn everywhere. He blinks and runs a hand through his hair, wondering how on Earth he wound up here and realizes his hair is very... slick. In fact so is the rest of him. It smells like..  He sniffs and then puts a finger in his mouth. Butter, He's absolutely covered in butter.

Turlough has his subtle moments. This is not one of them.

"You're not pleased to see me then?" Well this was all very confusing for him. The Doctor looks Turlough up and down before sticking his hands deep into his pockets, which were also sticky with butter. Good thing time lords don't get breakouts then.

"It's not that. I thought you were already here. Well, this specific you, your other selves don't count."

[tenofgallifrey]

"Oh there's more of me? That hasn't happened in a long while. Which mes? Where are they lurking?"

[vislor_turlough]

"The you I knew." Turlough smiled softly. "My Doctor. And also the eleventh one, so he said. Floppy hair and bowtie. He's all right."

[tenofgallifrey]

"Hm, don't think I've sen that one yet. Is he ginger?" The Doctor rubs his chin. "But blond me's here! With the specs and the cricket?" Yes all right, he's still a bit vain about that one.

[vislor_turlough]

"Still not ginger. You never really did...or will explain why you are so obsessed with gingers. There's me, that loud woman, Amy...she's after you, I think, the next Doctor's."

It's just... it's a good color that's all.And I've never been ginger! You know I've only got three regenerations left and I still haven't done. Very dissatisfying.

"Well, what else am I supposed to think? Three ginger companions that I know of, plus your own desire to be ginger, makes a man wonder..."

He isn't flirting. But he could be.

"were you always this cheeky?" He laughs and pulls Turlough into a buttery hug. Because what are Tens good for if not gratuitous affection?

Turlough wrinkled his nose but hugged the Doctor back. "It's this place. It's absolutely batty and if you spend long enough here it rubs off on you. Ooh, careful, I'm still tender back there," he said as the Doctor touched the back of his head.

His smile falters a bit and he pulls back, holding Turlough at arm's length to examine him. "What do you mean, what's happened? Did you fall?"
